Dear Parents / Carers

To the Parents / Carers of pupils currently in Year 4 & 5

 

I have pleasure in inviting you to an information evening to be held at Poynton High School on Tuesday 3^rd July 2017, at 6.30pm.  This event is a great opportunity for you to find out more about the excellent opportunities that lie ahead for your son or daughter if they were to attend our school in the future.

 

On this evening there will be short presentations about the work of Poynton High School and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our school, 11-18 education, secondary school admissions and the transition process. The evening is extremely popular and is designed for parents only; pupils will have a chance to look round the school and find out much more at their dedicated Open Evening in September.  This particular event allows us to focus directly on the questions that parents/carers have and allows us to talk to you about the challenges that lie ahead in terms of the future changes to education and the journey that our pupils will embark on at the end of their primary phase. 

 

Please do not worry if this date is inconvenient for you, as a similar presentation will be given on Thursday, 4^th October when we host the main Open Evening for any parents and pupils to look around the school.

 

We do hope that you will wish to join us for this event in the school hall on 3rd July.  Presentations will commence at 7.00 pm and the event will conclude before 8.30pm.
