PE – healthy lifestyle
The physical education curriculum at PHS is designed to provide all pupils with the knowledge and skills to become physically confident in a way that supports their health and fitness. In all year groups, our students and young people are encouraged to take part in an active lifestyle and make healthy lifestyle choices. It is recommended that all children and young people should engage in moderate-vigorous physical activity for at least 60 minutes every day.
Students experience a high-quality curriculum that encourages them to be physically active for sustained periods of time and lead healthy, active lives. Students take part in a range of activities during their PE lessons to help support them in finding a love for physical activity and to promote them leading a healthy lifestyle.
We also offer a broad range of extra-curricular clubs at both lunch times and after schools to support students’ opportunities with engaging in physical activity
