118 Bronze DofE students completed their Assessed Expedition in the White Peak on 18-19th July, walking  from Tideswell to Elton via the beautiful Lathkildale and a very pleasant overnight camp in Haddon Grove near Monyash.  The weather was pleasant and dry and thankfully nowhere near the heatwave temperature we have had of late. Although there was the odd accidental wrong turning, all students navigated their way along their routes and managed to get to the campsite and bus home without any assistance. Many thanks to PHS and Challenge Expeditions staff for a very successful assessed expedition and well done to all who participated.
