Student Support
The pastoral care of our students is a responsibility we take very seriously. We place great store on creating and maintaining the right relationships between students, staff and parents. In order to ensure that all students learn and work in an environment of safety and respect, we have established our “Poynton High Expectations”. This details our expectations and consistent approach to ensuring all students make positive behaviour choices, both in and outside of the classroom. A summary of our expectations can be found by clicking the following link: POYNTON HIGH EXPECTATIONS

Poynton High School and Performing Arts College will not tolerate bullying.
If you are concerned about being bullied, you know someone who you think is being bullied or you are concerned about your behaviour towards others there are lots of people you can talk to, both in school (see list above) or outside of school if you would prefer.
If you would rather talk to someone outside of school click here to find details of other agencies that can help with all kinds of issues.
