Admissions Process
Poynton High School is an 11-18 school serving Poynton, Disley, Adlington and the local area. It is part of the True Learning Partnership. The normal application round to Poynton High school is at Year 7 and Year 12 (for the sixth form). In year and out of area applications are also welcome.
Admissions are dealt with by Cheshire East Council and we have adopted their Admissions Policy. The school admits students with Education Health and Care Plans where Poynton High School is the named provision.
Poynton High School has an agreed Published Admission Number (PAN) of 246 in Years 7-11.

Appeals Procedures
If you have not been offered a place you have the right of appeal against the decision. You should contact School Admissions on 01625 871811, who will guide you through the process. Appeals are heard by an independent panel.
