Y12 and Y13 students studying German History were visited today by Martin from the Northern Holocaust Education Group.

Martin spoke to students about his mother’s experiences as a teenager in Nazi-controlled Austria in the 1930s and how she was brought to Britain as one of only 10,000 children on the Kindertransport.

The talk was captivating and the students really appreciated Martin taking the time to come and speak to them.
