Year 13 Physics trip
Easter saw some of the Year 13 Physics students on a visit to Geneva.
The trip took in the United Nations, the Natural History Museum, the History of Science Museum and the Botanical Gardens. Most exciting was the visit to CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, and the chance to tour the overground facilities at the Large Hadron Collider. Everyone had a wonderful time exploring the charming city as well as developing their understanding of particle physics research.
Some of our A-Level physicist with Mrs Pitt at the Large Hadron Collider, Geneva. The cutting edge of research in Physics!
