We are pleased to welcome you to our Virtual Sixth Form Open Evening. Although we are unable to welcome you in person to look around our Sixth Form and meet students and staff at the moment we are pleased to provide you with a variety of specially created resources for you to watch, listen to and read in your own time.

We suggest that you begin with the Sixth Form Open Evening Presentation from Mr Hardman, which will give you a broad overview of information about our Sixth Form, our ethos, our results and the many additional opportunities we offer. Our Head Student Group have also been pleased to prepare a short tour video which we hope you enjoy.

From there, please click on the subject links of your own choosing for further information on our wide range of A level and BTEC courses. For more detailed subject information please see the Subject Prospectus on the Sixth Form Home Page.   

Once you have watched all of the subjects of interest, please complete the application form handed out by your form tutor. If you are not currently a student at Poynton High School please download the Application Form (top left) to be completed electronically and returned to sixthformsupport@phs.cheshire.sch.uk
